I buy EVERY thing on line but it's traditional now, Lancaster, Three Rivers and with care Ebay. Before going wheel-less I had so many sponsors I rarely had to buy anything.

I ordered through bowhunters whorehouse a little back in the day. I even bought some arrows off of camofire.com a couple years ago. If the proshop is just ridiculously higher in price it's difficult not to buy online. But I always enjoyed going into Trophy Archery and getting guidance, advice and service for just a little more so I started using the proshops for many of my needs. I'm sure buying online is great. You can do it from home, work or on your mobile device. Never see the face of another person. Electronic transfer of monies and a package on the front door step a few days later. Until you have a problem. Then folks run to the proshop and want personal service, with a smile, for a little or nothing. They don't support the proshop and build a business relationship with them then want to be treated like gold just because they suddenly burst through their door with their once in a while issues. If you live a long way from a proshop or archery service center I can see it. But just because you save a few bucks here and there it's not really worth it to me. I would rather pay a few dollars more for a rest, have it installed on my bow correctly at the proshop. A few practice points, fletchings or tube of glue may cost a little more there, but picking it up while there and spending an extra 75 cents for it does more for keeping that relationship working and those doors open so when I do NEED them, hopefully I have already laid the foundation for the response everyone hopes for.

Only problem is that every proshop I've gone to has their stuff priced half-again more than what online suppliers charge, and they always have a bad attitude about helping me. I'm better off just to order the parts and tools online and do it myself.

Some of tactical cowboy, have to save a few bucks. When you live on a fixed income and only get a 1.3 percent col raise evry couple of years have to be frugal.

I am sorry if you had a bad experience with Bowhunters international warehouse. I had a great experience.

The professional that I have to work on my crossbow was the person who suggested them. He is very aware of my situation. Brother in law might be in the same situation. When I can I do purchase from from bigger places and spend exorbant amounts of money. Sure would love to have at bone steak for dinner this weekend, but I will most likely have a hamburger steak if that's ok with you.

Have a great day.

Didn't say I had a bad experience with Bowhunters warehouse. I just said that I believe in supporting my local proshops. Just like I believe in shopping at stores in my home town when possible to support the local business and tax base. Sometimes it's a financial choice, and I stated I understand that. My income is fixed, 2% col raise each year, unless I decide to go back to work. And I'm blessed no doubt. I hear what you are saying. I just don't completely agree, or disagree, with you.
