Okay, so first I have to apologize for watching this crap. They were trying to trap a monster hog. So, they trap it. Then the excuses fly. Well, he's not 1000 lbs. but he's 800 for sure. They never showed a great comparative shot but it may have been 400. It had one foot tusks, it had no tusks! It was a Russian Boar well crossed with a duroc. It had a notched ear like it was part of someone's herd. Now I know why I usually don't watch these shows.

But the shows suck you in, don't they. You are talking about their Hogzilla episode? The hog supposedly walked on its hind feet and had paws instead of hooves as well, but that didn't materialize.
If you watch, those guys NEVER catch the monsters they are truly after and usually don't catch anything at all

tried out for one of them thar parts: twas over qualified yah, sent em e-mail on how i'z do its here. start out with 30-pac, take six-pac ta sour corn for 3ta4 days. set trap out through corn all around trap, lettten hogs get used ta trap . whin soured corn tis good an punjent with aroma pour soured corn 20 yrds out side trap, climb in trap, with a cold one, shut trap, & whin they comes strollen bye, choot-em with me 4ta5. Yah, haven't heard from em
