Vet has my lab on it, looks like its a for life type deal. Took her off for a week and the runs came right back. Honestly it's a miracle drug, but don't know what y'all have heard about side effects or long term treatment. Spent over 2k trying to find out how to solve this for her, and Tylan is the only thing that has worked. All her text results have been fine for everything.

Some IBD dogs respond to Tylan, others do not. Trial and error will reveal whether it will help.

I had a case years ago like yours.....if the dog didn't get Tylan daily, it would relapse almost immediately. The client would just sprinkle the powder on the dog food. After a bit of a learning curve, the dog ate the whole meal with gusto, Tylan and all.

Tylan is an old drug. It's pretty safe and I have never heard of any side effects. And really what choice do you have?? A good friend of mine has her successful agility dog on it and no issues unless she's off of it.
