I will be putting this Fake powerline up early Monday morning. I have already had dove try to land on it in my back yard. I have 2 decoys on it now.... Should I add a couple more?
It is made out of a couple of 12' PVC pipes 100' of rope. The pipes have pointed steel angle iron screwed to the bottom for easy staking. The rope has 2 Walmart tent stakes at each end.

Think it will do the trick?

I can tell you for sure that it will! Hard to keep decoys upright though. I had some hollow body decoys and a similar setup last year, and I just cut holes in the decoys for the rope to pass through, where they'd hang the right way. The only problem then is on windy days they shake more than I'd like.

I already fixed that issue sling. I have the decoys held up by the top line by some 6# mono. That is on of the reasons why they are on the bottom line.
I hope this will make it easy for the wife and son to knock a few birds down. The more fun they have the more Daddy gets to go! clap

It'll be amazing...if there are birds flying, they'll definitely check that out if you got some decoys on it and some on the ground around it.

I'm looking forward to my wife shooting a few too. She'll be out there on Monday. The more she shoots on Monday, the more she'll go the rest of the year, so I hope she does well!
