1100 HF acres in north east zavala county

No blinds, feeders etc. 30 acre pivot field planted in oats and milo

Several smaller tanks, ranch has been stripped for quail hunting in years past

Has not been hunted in 5 years, survey shows several bucks in the 160's, country will produce mid 170's on feed

What would be an appropriate price per acre to lease?

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

A steak dinner, round of golf, bottle of whiskey, and $1.00/acre. We'll just keep the golf, steak and whiskey between us! wink

Appropriate would be $12-15 per acre, 5 gun max. Likely to be $15-25 per acre, 5 gun max in that area.

Approx. 60-70 deer, 1:2 buck to doe ratio

Probably sign a 3 year contract

Are you hunting it yourself or looking for hunters?

Those numbers actual count? I think I may have been on this ranch back in the early 2000's.

No looking for a price, owner is thinking of leasing it out but dosent have a guess on price.

I told him $12-15/acre off the top of my head

I'm not gonna lease it from him but its a good ranch

You may have been in this one, its the neighbor to my neighbors neighbor

I'd bite on that lease at $15 per.

I would not lease it by the acre but by the gun.
