Bought license online 2 weeks ago and HIP Certification was not on the license when it came.  Called TPWD and they did it on the phone and gave me a document number to carry until I get it in the mail. Case of shells and MOJO decoy arrived yesterday. New Shotgun is broke in to specs, cleaned and lubed with Teflon spray. Got to get bug spray and maybe a few more decoys. Carrying paperwork to Puddin's Doves in Graham tomorrow and will be at Woodson opening morning. Anything I'm missing?

If you did not purchase the super combo license. Make sure you have the white-wing permit. Make sure the new shotgun has plug installed. It amazes me how many establishments sell licenses and have no freaking idea what they are doing?

I am flying solo on opening day, and trying public land for the first time so a little nervous. Same here. Solo and public land hunting. Should be an interesting day. But I'm going on Tue not Mon.

I bought the super combo but the white wing permit didn't print out, they also forgot to hip certify me. Maybe that is why?

I got a ticket for not leaving the wing attached one year. They said that they couldn't tell how many white wings vs mourning doves there were in the bag. Dang wardens should be able to tell by the breast size anyways.

I got enough sunscreen for Cox's Army. I got baggies. Next up water and adult refreshments for after the hunt at my brother's Lake Graham lake house.

It's amazing how many establishments sell anything with no idea, but I would bet it comes down to employees, not employer It amazes me how many establishments sell licenses and have no freaking idea what they are doing?

Isn't the employer responsible for training the employees? Doesn't the success of the employer hinge on the performance of it's employees?
