This may be a dumb question but I wont know until I ask haha. I am new to dove hunting, I have some left over upland ammo, high brass 5 shot.. too big to use? I also have clay rounds 7.5 shot the tracer rounds.. I never have a chance to get out and shoot clays.. could I use this for dove or just buy all new ammo for dove..

Be gentle. .. lol

I'd find something else. You will mangle birds and catch a field on fire.

The 7.5 are fine.... I am assume they are not tracers though.

No not the fire tracers lol. But the winchester target rounds with a colored load that you can trace in the air after being shot.

Doves only need 1-2 pellets.
Dont go crazy. Some shitty ammo from wallymart will do the job for sure.

Less is better for dove...

Unless u pass shooting migrating white wings at 50 yards up with 25 mph northwind in their butts, u might need some nr 6
