I think the playa lakes are gna have water this year do I'm gna need 2 new layout blinds. I've used power hunters and goosebusters before but I'm really leaning towards the cabelas ultimate because of the waterproof bottom. Anybody actually hunted the ultimate in a couple inches of water? Also is there anything else out there comparable to the ultimate?

http://www.momarsh.com/shallow-water-solutions/at-x-invisilay/If I was only going to buy a couple, then I would go with these. Gives you much more flexibility than just being able to lay in a couple inches of water. When I was going to school at Tech I would have died for a couple of these. When the water is way up in the playas, the vegetation is usually 50 yards thick around the whole edge of most ponds and the water out there is too deep for a layout blind that will keep you dry in a couple inches of water.

I have a Cabelas ultimate and have used a couple of times in 3-5 in of water. It worked very well, the only water in it was from getting in and out of it.
Life,s better in waders
