I picked this up for $300, it's a 15' semi v alumaweld, came with the trailer. I figured it was worth it. I'm gonna put a ton of work into it, won't be ready for this season but for sure next one.

That's exactly what I run, paired with the 25 Yamaha 4 stroke it's perfect!

Yeah that thing could be sweet if you got a little coin to throw at it.

Yep, it's an all weld, and yea I'm gonna work a ton of overtime this next off season and hopefully put quite a bit in it. I'm not going to rush anything and not go cheap(est) I have a picture in my head but who knows what it will end up looking like

What size surface drive would be needed to push this with two riders and gear? I don't need to ski behind this, just move at a good speed.

The largest hp it can hold. I would steer you away from a mud motor. It is my opinion one gives up way too much with a mud motor.

Well the only reason I want one is cause my dad bought a tracker yesterday too with a 40hp outboard that we will use, so I want to do mine with a different setup

No this is after I bought it and brought it to my grandfathers shop, that's my grandfather on the phone with my father who was buying a boat at the same time.

Thank you, I figured it was worth it, and will keep me busy till next year, working on it, or working to put money towards it.

Been working on this a little at a time during the off season and it's finally done, I was looking for a 25hp Suzuki and ended up finding this 40hp so I had to stiffen up the transom to to hold the weight, make a switch pannel from the aluminum I saved from cutting the foam from the seat pod.
