Besides Academy & Craigslist, anyone know where to pick a used or cheap heater for the stand. I really like the Mr. Buddy but other models will do.

Thanks in advance.

Most of my blinds have the Coleman Catalytic heaters. They are great. The bigger blind has a Mr Buddy.

Home Depot, Tractor Supply and others sell Knock off to Mr.Buddy at slightly cheaper prices. I bought one a few years ago and on the back it said for parts call Mr. Buddy at 1-800.... it was slightly cheaper than the MB but works good, just check around.

They're getting hard to find, but the little porcelain-covered bathroom heaters from flea markets work great. Just a tiny blue flame is all you need, and they are very quiet.

I pick up an old gas heater up at Canton for $15. The white one your grand mother had in her bath room. I set my coffee cup and breakfast on it to keep it warm. Use a #20 bottle and dont have to worry about running out of gas.
