Ive been in the market lately for a new ATV. I really have my eye on a 2014 Polaris Sportsman 570. The local dealerships around here are quoting me about 10K out the door! I have looked around and found several dealerships in OK, AR and LA that have all quoted me around 7K OTD for the same exact quad. What gives?

Is there any issue with driving over there to get one? My big thing is although I have cash I have decided to finance this through Polaris for a little extra credit building while im at it. Purchasing it out of state wouldn't effect me getting financed would it? I don't see that it should really matter to them.

Just looking on some input from anyone that may have been down this road.

Thanks!

I bought a 2014 Ranger 900 eps special edition from Jones Power Sports in Durant last April. MSRP 14999.00 I paid 13200.00 out the door. I sent my brother in-law up there last month and he got a 2014 Sportsman 570 eps for 6200.00 out the door MSRP was 7299.00 on that one. No sales tax in OK and they deal unlike the BS dealers around here. Drive a couple hours and save some major cash. The dealers here will take 500 off and act like they are doing you a favor then they add dealer prep and other fees plus sales tax at 8.25%. I would have had to pay $ 16237.00 locally so I saved $3037.00 driving 4 hours round trip for my Ranger. I paid cash for mine but my bro in-law financed his through Polaris at 2.99% and he had no problem. Hope this helps.

I just got off the phone with Jones Powersports! He quoted me the same $6250 OTD for the 570 w/ EPS! He said financing is no problem at all. I couldn't be happier, will be working this deal out next week.

Same here but they recently changed the laws where you have to provide a farm/tax id in order not to pay sales tax.

Yep, unless you are ag exempt you will pay a bunch in sales tax. Glad I could help you out Garrett. You will not be disappointed dealing with the Oklahoma guys. The dealers around here suck A@ss.

I drove up to antlers polaris and worked with a guy named BJ. he was great to work with. I purchased a 2013 800 Ranger Crew. I had him put on aftermarket wheels and tires (Larger than stock) and a fortress roof. I paid 12500 OTD. financed at 3.9

I started to go to Oklahoma but the Honda dealer in Georgetown quoted me a great price. I talked to Family Powersports here in Lubbock and they matched the other dealer.

Bought my Honda in Oklahoma last year and they saved me a bunch of money. No issues at all.

I drove to Arkansas to get my 570 ranger. Had every dealer in north Texas quote me and it saved me about $800. One in Denton was willing to price match but had too many fees....the fees is what hurts,

The dealer I dealt with in Ark had a flat $388 fee and no BS

I've seen the sportsman 570 in green as low as $5299 with rebates

Exactly...they all act like it's a major pain in the rear. I told them flat out ill drive out of state and they didn't care so I did.

Same with my boats, Oklahoma and Ark both seem to have better pricing always
