I'd like to get one of these on the books within the next 12 months, and I'd like input from folks that have been.

What time of year is best, for birds and for weather comfort?

Anybody have an outfitter recommendation? A nice lodge, good food & wine, etc. are almost as important as the hunting.

Any miscellaneous tips? I know the cost of shells really drives up the price. Is there any way to get around that?

Any other Argentina "must-do's" to mix in while there?

I appreciate any input y'all have to offer.

I just got back. I'm going again next year.

We currently have three lodges which all offer tremendous wing shooting and accommodations. Some
Offer other opportunities in addition to dove, such as ducks, pigeon, perdiz, or dorado fishing.

A one or two day tour of Buenos Aires is worth it. Tango dances, great food, city tours, and visiting the market are all popular things to do outside the hunting opportunities.
