I know this is a "reinventing the wheel" topic, but what are the best teal decoys? Best quality and/or best bang for the buck. All help much appreciated. And....Go!

Honestly, I've had them drop in on just about every decoy I have, including a dove mojo. I have some older flambeaus that work just fine...

When it comes to teal hunting, the quality of deeks only matters to people.

Avian X and GHG Progrades both look great but, the paint on the Avian's wont chip away like the GHG progrades. IMO the Avian's are about 3 steps ahead of anybody else.

Teal will drop in on empty coke bottles though.

Bingo! No doubt, decoys are for people, teal could care less. I have killed tons of teal using mallard hens or just one spinner when I am too lazy to put decoys out, it does feel more like a hunt though when you put teal decoys out though, but not necessary IMO.

And yes I do hunt with teal decoys during early teal now just to add to the experience but when we take my buddies rig, which is half the time, he still runs mallard hens and I have not noticed a difference.

I use my mallard hens. Mojo dove works good on teal.

Mallard hens and Mojo Dove. Don't need many, but the Mojo Dove definitely works on Teal.
