I have land in rural Hill county for a group of responsible hunters. It is a working cattle ranch of 182 acres but the hunting will be limited to about 60 acres on the South end. The land is surrounded by crop land and some CRP land. The area for hunting has one small stock tank and one large stock tank about 500 yards apart. Trees are around both. The birds swarm in for water and a place to roost all through the morning hours and again in late afternoon. Limits were easy last year and should be the same this year. There was about 30 dove in the trees when I visited Tuesday at mid morning.

The land is located about 15 miles South of Hillsboro. Cattle will be put in a back pasture for the first two weeks of the season.

I would like one group of 2 to 8 hunters but will be open to individuals. The group rate is $1600 for the full dove season season including the winter dates. Individuals are $250 each.

All hunters will need to sign a release. Trash must be picked up as well as as many hulls as you can find. The grass is tall in spots so I realize some will be missed. There are a few other common sense rules to follow.

Please email me questions or you can call if you would like.

Thanks
Barney

Caddington your PM was answered. The place for group is still available. Lots of interest from individuals so I will go that route if nothing happens by this weekend.

Mr Caddington has the first option for the season. We will see how that goes.
Thanks for your interest.
