The N750 is a beast, looked great!

The muzzle flash did make it difficult to track that moving hog.

I wonder if maybe that ammo being used on the N750 has a burn rate that leaves alot of residue in the air at the muzzle, maybe a different ammo loading would have a different result?

I too like your new intro clip - very creative.

That night and weekend was the worst I have ever seen for any night vision or thermal. No moon, no stars, and humid. It started off hot but then cooled off quickly so I guess the moisture in the air was still warm so it messed up the the thermals resolution. Think it was the same humidity that caused the smoke to hang in the air like that reflecting his illuminator's light back at him. DNS was aiming at the large boar but the smaller on in front turned into his bullet, he hit the smaller one in the rear and I think hit the larger one with the same bullet. You see the smaller on drop his rear. The large boar took multiple hits but still ran. We saw buzzards circling the connecting property but could not confirm if it was him.

Love the fancy intro! up Very nice job on the vid... banana

Lots of reasons for the excessive reflectivity. You had several weapons running rounds which would have put a lot of smoke/debris out there. If that was a really bad night for thermal, it is prolly the worst reflectivity case I have seen on an N750. Also, I don't believe DNS had the dimming illuminator on that night which could have reduced the brightness some. Regardless of any of this, you guys got to get together, shoot a couple of hogs and build friendships. In the end, that is the most important thing.

Thanks for sharing! cheers

Ben, between the smoke from the guns of multiple shooters and the lack of significant breeze, the reflected IR was substantial. I have had this with singular shots as well during calm conditions and multiple types of ammo. It usually isn't much of a problem with a singular hog, but as shown, certainly can be.

I do like how the video contrasts a lot of features between the scopes, advantages and disadvantages.

I didn't fire on the first hog in the video that was at about 90-100 yards. With the Pulsar and illuminator, I could not see it in the high grass well enough to identify it or tell which way it was facing. Obviously with the thermal, that wasn't an issue. I ended up watching the shooting with my FLIR instead of trying to shoot.

It was all a lot of fun. This was my first group hunt and I was impressed by how well everyone conducted themselves in the field.

Nice video!

Thanks for this feedback, it gives me an idea for an additional field test later down the road when the supressor arrives, specifically with use of Digital NV and IR illumination.
