The texas rigs I have on my deeks isn't working too well for the places I'm hunting these days.

Anybody have a hook up on GHG keel grabber weights or know where to get the best price? Looking to get 8 dz or so in 4 OZ.

Might try Ace brand anchors. They are a little better quality.

I have the keel grabbers on some of my decoys that aren't texas rigged. Double loop your line running through the hole on the bungee and don't tighten it down too tight on the bungee. I've had mine for 4 or 5 seasons now and haven't had a single one break.

I'm mostly hunting a 7 ft deep pond now so texas rigs aren't really working.

I had some bungees get really brittle and break a few years back but I think they were Game Winner, not GHG. My GHG 8 OZ on my Canada floaters are still doing great (1 season). I guess that's why they sell replacement rubbers.

Tomcat - I saw the Ace anchors and I like them, just gotta figure out if they're worth $7 more a dozen. Prob worth it if I had to replace the GHG rubbers after a couple seasons.

Broken Rubbers = Expensive

I use them for my Canada goose decoys. The only time I hunt the Canadas is in a fast moving river with a sand bottom. The only thing that will bite are the L shaped grabber 8 or 10 oz weights. I don't like the bungee part, so I just cut it off and straight Texas rigged them.

After you reach a certain age you stop messing around with rubbers
