Check the dates on these. They keep coming back, almost daily. I was out there yesterday and nothing is dead or smelly around the feeder. I just had another texted to me and one is there again today. Do buzzards eat corn? The deer never stopped coming...so I'm stumped as to why the buzzards are there. Thanks!! Matt
The psycho nut bags have always been there. They just get better press now. Take away their guns, they'll use knives. Take away their knives and they'll use sticks!!

Could be as simple as a dead squirrel. Or buzzards like corn too.

That is odd, did you take the lid off and smell? Soured maybe??

Could be a nest close by also in a brush pile.

Noting was soured or dead nearby. I didn't think about a nest. There could be one behind the brush. Thanks!! Matt

Buzzards are scavengers so they will grain as well as meat. If it sits still very long it gets ate.

Any water trough nearby? That's what draws mine in to the feeder areas.

I had buzzards that frequently came by my feeders. Years ago when I started trapping heavy, I would throw dead coons off in the woods about 50 yards out. So buzzards got accustomed to finding a meal around feeders occasionally. I started carrying the dead animals off and ended the problem, somewhat. I discovered that they can smell blood really good. If I shot a coon or a hog and hauled it a mile away, they would still show up and walk around were the animal bled looking for something to eat, even if there wasn't much blood. They must have a great sense of smell. If you kill animals there often you may have created a honey hole for them.

Fill the feeder. I don't see any corn. They are waiting for something to starve to death.
