I threw on a couple slabs of pork spare ribs and a spatchcocked injected chicken sittin' on a bed of butter with a little beer. Putting a brisket on in the morning....what's cooking out there?

I threw some black-buck backstrap in a brine earlier. My wife plans on throwing it in with some veggies and doing a stir-fry kind of meal. It sounds good, I'll let you know how it goes.

Finished off a pig shoulder, pulled the meat and am freezing it to take to my daughter at grad school. Made some peach cobbler, our trees were loaded this year so most of the fruit was cut and put in baggies in the freezer. Fresh peaches make the best cobbler!

Man, IMO it's hard to beat peach cobbler with fresh peaches....haven't had fresh peach cobbler in many years.

What started as a blackbuck backstrap stir-fry ended up being "throw whatever is left in the frig in the pan with the meat." Add some rice and ratatouille, and a big glass of sweet tea. It was dang good, I added some more meat before I finished the plate. The doctor has my wife on an extreme version of a paleo-diet so we have been eating a lot more venison.

Yesterday I did some bruschetta with parmesan crusted spec trout and a lemon butter sauce with mushrooms and parsley.
There was none left.
