Any pics of how you feed nutrition blocks to deer would be great.

Thinking of building a feeder of some type to keep the blocks off the ground.

I use a piece of rebar to keep it in place until it starts getting broken apart. Helps keep it in front of a camera. The trick is to pre-drill a hole through it so that it doesn't split when putting the rebar through it.

I don't know. Every time I get close to them with a fork they run away.

I have set them on the ground if it is like a mineral block, a patio paver works good. I knew a guy that used a paver or 2 and put an old tire around it. If I used rebar like in the that photo, I'd sure drive it down to "flush", could be a chance to a deer getting a bad eye.

You could weld a large washer on the end of the rebar and it would look like a large nail. That would protect the eyes, but make it more difficult to add a new block. Just a thought.

Just cut a small hole in a tennis ball and stick it on top of the rebar. Hopefully they won't mistake it for a horse-apple....
