anyone ever use their dog blind during dove hunting season? This is my pups first season. I am not so much concerned that the dog needs to be in the blind for dove hunting, but figure it will be good practice/training for when duck season rolls around. By November he should be completely used to hanging out in his blind. Or thats my theory, what do yall think?

Train at home. In the field is the worst place to train. You will worry yourself to death trying to keep pooches in the blind. He will want out because it will be hot. I see nothing but a downhill plan with it.

I agree with this 100%. I don't think anything good will come out of it. And I've never used a dog blind when duck hunting either. I'm just saying...
