Why not add the Armasight Drone Pro as well?

It is too soon for this poll....
I can appreciate why the question is being asked but there hasn't been a single round of 308 fired on an X-sight yet. And for many reasons the X-sight isn't directly comparable to an N750 or DronePro.
If you're gonna add the DronePro you may as well add the following:
Sightmark Photon 3x42 and 5x42 and NiteSite Eagle/Viper and Pulsar DFA75.

I would have to agree with HTH. To start with, it is impossible to have an opinion on a sight that isn't even in the field yet. Maybe give it some time and try again...

N750 is the only functioning option on the poll.

My vote is for the N750 for the following reasons Adequate display size and resolution = comfortable extending viewing and independent adjustments of contrast and brightness Rock solid durability = We've subjected the N750 to hundreds of rounds of 6.5 Grendel, 6.5 Creedmore, 308, 6x45AR, and 5.56. without any degradation in zero or image performance. Easy of use = the controls are intuitive the menu is laid out in a straightforward manner and you don't have to factor for base gun optical zero in addition to clip on zero like with the DFA75. NOTE: I've never tried the NiteSite so I cannot compare to that product line. HTXH

Neither Sightmark is comparable to the N750 and the 5X is no longer produced. The NiteSite is not my cup of tea, but I don't think it compares well overall to the N750 anyway. I'm not a clip on guy, so the DFA doesn't have an appeal....nor was I overly impressed with its sight image.
The Pulsar N750 is a proven, durable product backed by a company known for customer service. For me, it's the N750, no contest.
The X-Sight, on paper, has a chance to change that.

Did ATN come into the thread and take the poll? There are votes for the X-sight, nobody has ever seen one and Cyberpyrot said to explain WHY you selected the vote...

Anyone buy a DFA75? Kinda like the idea of mounting it on a day optic.

N550 vs N750? I don't really care about recording video, I just want to be able to see well enough to make an accurate shot at 200 yards. Digital seems like the best bang for your buck when you're poor....

I've been using the NiteSite Eagle on my 30.06 along with the Spotter Extreme for checking around the pasture for critters. I've been very pleased with this package. It's about the same as hunting during daylight to me.

I like the DFA75, only because I hunt different stands on our property and other property's. With that I hunt with different rifles. I have one on my 6.5 Grendel here at the Canton show this weekend. Aug 23-24
