I'm an older gent looking for a bow lease within a couple of hours of Houston. Not looking to drive to the Hill Country. Too far. I'd prefer a small lease just for me to bow hunt on, but will share with others if you have an opening. Not really wanting to share with rifle hunters. It's just me. No family. No kids. Just me.

I know I'm basically asking for the impossible, but thought I'd throw it out there!

It's not impossible. Go through your contacts and see if you know anyone with a farm in Bellville or Cat Springs or the surrounding areas. There are too many deer there, and does are taken by permit or during bowseason only.

Finding a lease may be tough, but if you can find someone that has land, there's a good chance they need help thinning the deer.
