Has anyone had any experience with these? They look to be good quality from what I've seen

Looks good, probably could build one for cheaper though.

I bought a 1000 pound regular feeder when it was local here and it's great. I saw one of the varmint proofs in there looked like a good design. Can't say too much now since they are under new management in Austin!

I have had two of the 600# Diamond X feeders running continously in East Tx for 5 years with few problems. There are some small holes underneath the hooper bottom that you need to plug up to keep wasps out and I have had the spinner plate get jammed twice from junk in the corn. Just used a stick to spin the plate and all was good.

Feeder has been reliable and keeps everything out of your corn. I am going to get another one but think it will be one from below.

Meet the guys, who bought the oompany yesterday at the Hunter Extrvaganza, seemed very nice and one had worked for Diamond and helped develop the feeder. Only part of company they didn't get was the X models.

So, They had some different models that did basically the same thing, think they call their company, Platinum feeders.

How sturdy are they? Have any issues w cattle and/or hogs running into them and knocking them down or tipping them over?

My buddy has had two running for over 5 years and they are great. They are super sturdy but no feeder is tip-proof against a determined cow. If that's a problem you need to fence your feeders in any event.

How tall do they stand, can you fill from the ground or need a ladder?
