Went bass fishing with shiners while in FL which to me is the best was to fish for bass and snapped this pic. It was a very calm and very hot day but we managed to catch 7 bass ranging from about a pound to 4 lbs.

That's pretty cool! you catch and bowfin? We call em mud fish never seen any in that lake but I know a few lakes where u can catch them.

That looks very bassy! Glad you caught you share. It was very bassy. The lake was way down but has began to make a comeback. That hole was about 16 ft deep in the middle about 8 ft where the lili pads were.

That's pretty cool! you catch and bowfin? I hooked one at Lake Fork one time. Dang thing tore the carp out of my spinner bait and jumped about 3 foot out of the water. Got off on the first jump though.
