I always think I like dove the best. Until I eat quail.

Dove and turkey. Oh, forgot about pheasant. That's pretty darn good as well.

Chukar, wrapped in bacon and slow cooked in a smoker using pecan wood. Are you hungry now! Yes I am.

Quail is good, but too small. Chukar taste like quail, but bigger so that's better. Not a fan of pheasant at all. Turkey is good, dove is good, but I like ducks the best.
So, best game bird by far I've had is medium rare wood duck.
Still haven't had sandhill crane though

Pheasant marinated in Italian dressing, wrapped in bacon, then slowly cooked over mesquite.

Pheasant, quail, chukar, grouse, turkey, woodcock and dove.
I heard prairie chicken is tasty but I've never even seen one to shoot.

Have only had dove so I would say Dove.
Iv got hogs an can show you a good time.

Wild Turkey! I don't think you can beat this recipe for wild turkey... http://honest-food.net/2012/05/15/turkey-parmesan-recipe/Quail would be next on the list. I've heard Sandhill crane is very good as well
