Yep, that day they got almost 3in, but all gone the next day. Looking forward to Nov 1.

Yep, that day they got almost 3in, but all gone the next day. Looking forward to Nov 1. Isn't it amazing how fast it can dry out? Good looking deer.

great deer and the grass looked good even before the rain! So what part of the county you guys in? We are about 12 miles south of Albany, just off the Moran hwy. Put cameras out two weeks ago but haven't been back to check them yet. How is antler development looking this year compared to last? Cant wait to pull pics.

We are south of Moran on HWY 6. 1st year on this place so I can't compare. I like what I see so far.

Good looking deer....make sure you take you best deer on opening day. The area gets a lot of hunting pressure and the big boys leave the bldg. I have a lease 4 miles south of Albany west of 6....been there for 5 years. The deer in Shackleford cty are real skiddish. Seen a lot of 150--160's on camera so they're there. I own land outside of Jacksboro and the hunting pressure isn't quite as bad resulting in seeing alot more deer.

We are south of Moran on HWY 6. 1st year on this place so I can't compare. I like what I see so far. Its my first year on my lease this year too. Looks like im right in the middle between yalls places. Im getting alot of pics, just nothing so far that I would take a second look at..
