I use Sony Movie Studio. It's pretty good and has some good features. It was easy enough to figure out, but I'm getting Sony Vegas soon. It's got all the bells and whistles.

You should have Windows Live Movie Maker. That's what I always used. Doesn't make fancy videos but works good enough to put a decent video together. Open your start menu and search for it.

windows movie maker sucks.
I bought a product called AVS Media Easy download, only about $50 (probly cheaper now) and it comes with an awesome video editor plus photo, audio and a bunch of other useful features. I read reviews on CNET, it has 5 stars. It works great and is easy to learn
did I mention that Windows movie maker sucks?

I use Sony Movie Studio Suite. $139 at Frys. You can pretty much do whatever you want with it. I make DVD's everyday at work with it.
