Where do you guys regularly buy your 12V feeder batteries? Don't need the cheapest, just the best value.
Batteries Plus seems like a rip off and the kids are just too dang weird in Radio Shack.
Northern Tool? Wally World? Amazon?

Amazon without a doubt. Earlier this year, I bought the 6 volt by the case (10 of them) for $35 w/free shipping and no tax.

all last year..i operated hog lites along with feeder motor..all year with a marine 12 volt battery..i wired the batter..drilled a hole in the lid..ran the wires straight down to the feeder moter and connected the hog lights to the said wires..you have no wires on outside of barrel..as the wire feeds through the barrel..you use a varmit cage to cover all electronis..fill feeder..put top on and set marine 12 volt battery on top of lid hook 12v solar panel to both battery and solar panel on top of lid..i did this last year..worked perfect..battery was free

Do you guys not put solar chargers on your batteries? Every feeder I have used for the last 25 yrs now has had a solar panel on it.
Are idiots multiplying faster than normal people?

Local Ace Hardware has the Power Sonic 12V battery for $14.99 plus tax.
I have also ordered this battery from E-bay with free shipping and no tax.

Thanks all. I'm also going to replace the solar panel on my Sweeney feeder; it's ancient and probably isn't doing squat.
