Anyone had any experiences with pooles Labradors in tulia? Looking for a new pup and a trainer. Not wanting to run hunt tests or anything like that just wanting a good solid hunting lab and a good family pet. Any other recommendations would be appreciated. Would like one around amarillo lubbock midland or san angelo so I could visit the pup

I've had 2 of their dogs. Both were great dogs but one had very bad hips and epilepsy. Maybe they have got that out of the gene pool by now. This was more than 10 years ago.

I mentioned the bad hips to Ed once and he didn't say much. I was a kid back then and didn't really pursue it.

Hmmm might not want to risk it. Also been looking at working man gundogs but man it's a long drive over there
