Wanted to see if anyone had some info on what the deer are like around deanville. Thanks for the help

I used to have a place about 9 miles from there in the Yegua Bottoms.

Lots of deer and hogs, but typically small with the occasional decent buck.

Biggest buck I ever got a pic of. Had some bigger ones that never hit feeders, but this is well above average for the area.

I'll also say that it drastically depends on your neighbors. Most of the land out there is very cut up into smaller tracts, so if your neighbors all hunt, you're going to have a hard time getting any sort of age structure.

I had 40 acres and was surrounded by 1500 acres that only 1 guy hunted. My other neighbor had 60 acres that some idiot that shot anything that walked was allowed to hunt. He'd take 5-6 bucks a year and it didn't matter if they had milk dripping from their lips.
