Look for threads started by PBGSO they seem to post Urial success photos regularly
for every stereotype there's a prototype don't be the prototype

How soon are you looking to hunt one? I have a friend who has a herd of them he started 2-3 yrs ago. Not sure if he is ready to hunt any yet though. He hand selected his herd for purity and look.

Steve Forrest has come up twice now. Does he have a website or does anyone have a good phone number or email address for him? Thanks again for all of the suggestions.

I was there a few years ago Quail hunting and a gentleman had taken a Transcaspian Urial. They are a really great looking Sheep.

ramslam, If the price on a pure Transcaspian Urial is too high you may want to consider an Afghan Urial. If you want to explore that route check out Clay Pope (PBGSO on this Forum) wesite below. http://www.huntsintexas.com/about/
