They have already started mocking me from the fence in the back yard. Kind of like a "Na na na na na naaaa" call that they make.

Mine stay around most of the year, I put out milo. Had a female lay her 1st eggs yesterday
I'd ask him if he's pregnant. He missed a s__tload of periods. I'll take "things that look like a uterus" for $200 Alex.

Olney doves will be gone in 2 hrs after massive supercell will dump basketball sized hail. Wow that's early. Seems something catastrophic like that happens to me the day before the opener.

I have hundreds of ringnecks in my subdivision. there are tons of ring necks here on the island year round too. I set a live trap by the bird feeder and caught 30 in one day. They are not bad eating either!

I sit in backyard some evenings and put dog food bowl in middle of the yard and start picking off ringnecks and grackles with air rifle. About another 10 ringnecks and I will have some wraps on the barbie

My lab was sleeping about 5 feet from the dog bowl and there were 10-12 doves between him and the food. He did not even move... That sounds real familiar. I can look out back door and birds all over and around food bowl with dog sleeping a few feet away. I go outside with air rifle and soon as a bird lands at bowl the dog runs after them. Think she's trying to get her own bird in front of me to try and impress me. Always gotta have treats for her to get the birds from her. She's not a bird dog. A mastiff couldn't be a bird dog they get tired really fast
