Decided to call after an unsuccessful hog hunt near Llano. These were the results... My first fox. He came in after only a minute of calling. Ran in front of me about 30 yards.  My buddy got a coyote as well earlier.  Also got a couple corn thieves in the midst of their thievery. All in all a good time.

I used to love shooting fox while in Germany. Since I didn't have a drilling or a combo I just used my 8x57. It stops the fox...but doesn't leave much to mount afterwards.
 Korea is nothing like Germany, and no amount of Army Modernization propaganda will convince me otherwise. I miss my wife and kids something fierce

Yeah, I hit this one with a 7.62x39 SP in the left rear quarter. Didn't leave much otherwise I was wanting to mount it. He is a purdy thing.

Beautiful fox! Yoy could do a shoulder mount fox. Or a pelt would also be pretty they can sewthe pelt up once tanned! Either way nice predator control and nice fox
