I havent shot a four legged critter in a few years now. Well my dad went and bought his own place and it got me jacked, so i put out some camera's during the summer. Took a while but the first deer i caught on camera were in October. Had alot of nice younger deer throughout the season on camera but have since moved on i guess. Was able to sneak in about 10 sits or so and was never able to make anything happen. I know they arent the bruiser's you guys get but hopefully you enjoy the pics half as much as i enjoy all of yalls. i will throw some more in from time to time. Date is correct and time is correct up to the time change.

I was hoping to see big boy but never did.

You need an autoloading shotgun and some big buck shot for them hogs. Lay 'em down or they will take over.

Thanks guys! I hope the middle one made it through the season. Haven't seen him in awhile, and should be a real dandy in time.

Really like the looks of that heavy 8. Those bucks will be solid this next year if they made it!

I do too, and he's the one I wanted for this year. How old do y'all think he is? I was thinking 5.5. The pics of these bucks are all from the same week if it matters.

The buck in your last photo, I guess to be 3&1/2 years old. still no belly or chest on him and he has long looking legs. All signs of younger buck. Give him one more year....two if you can stand it and then you will have a really great buck to be proud of.

Thanks guys! Mr. T, I was thinking the exact same thing. If I see him he will get a pass from me, I hope the neighbors do the same. Only thing that is discouraging if you want to call it that, is I had quite a few bucks come through last year that I have not seen since. I can only hope they are just missin my cameras, as i dont have a feeder, I am relying on them using the travel areas i have the cameras set up on. I did shoot a hog some months back, but still a lot of bacon to be had LOL. I'm gonna try and thin out some of the Coyotes as well. It's been fun so far, just hope i can get out there a little more this year.

It would surely be worth your time if you got a feeder if you truly want to see what bucks you have on the place. Even if you only feed at the lowest selection, say one second. Most feeders throw one pound of corn per second on the highest speed. So, you could go several months on a couple of sacks of corn. It will also bring in the hogs and the turkeys. With that many hogs you would have to steak down the feeder well, or build a hog proof fence around it.
