 shotgun choice for calling

have a 3in 12ga , which loads are you using and choke , must work for coyotes down . how far are you reaching? we use a 10 sp-10 out of the rack at night and one of us carries it during the day , but have lost several animails because they came blowing by and needed a shotgun and someone else had it,thanks my 12 has a 26in tube and screw in chokes.

Where do you get this hornady load, and thanks for the info It's called "Hornady Heavy Magnum Coyote", you can get it online or Academy recently started carrying it in 00Buck, but not the BB's. Chupa

Hi Bruton1,
They had the Hornady Heavy Coyote BB load at Cabela's Fort Worth several days ago. It works great and is reasonably priced.

#4 Dead coyote in full choke hits pretty hard Hits hard on both ends but that's what we go with. Ive killed fox at 55 yards, I know they ain't coyotes but that's still pretty good knock down power.

Used to carry an old Marlin Goose Goose Gun for calling loaded with #2's or BB's. 36 inch full choke.
Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.
