What is your best homebrew mix for Hogs? I have a 5 gallon bucket and a bag of corn. What should I add now?

I added maple syrup to mine and mixed it really good. Hogs came in that night.

Personally I don't think you have to add a lot. I've added Nesquick before and hogs came right in. I have them in regular right now with just corn. Just my 2cents

I've got 40 bottles of Hefeweizen homebrew that fermented too warm and is sour as the worst green apple you ever tasted. Sounds like just the ticket for you.

Eye of newt.

A real hunter never returns empty handed. Spending time in the wilderness temporarily satifies the soul, but leaves us longing for more.

Just sour the corn in water for a few days or so, you will know when its ready, then put it out...add anything else you want to if it makes you feel better. I don't anymore, but used to...

Incidentally, I usually dig a hole, pour the soured corn in the hole and cover it up...they will find it and it makes them work a little harder to eat it all. Good luck with your hunting.

Alright I'll give you my special recipe but please be careful when putting it together. It can be dangerous eek2

Start with Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the caldron boil and bake
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork and bling-worms sting,
Lizard's leg and howlet's wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and caldron bubble.
Cool it with a baboon's blood,
and the hogs shall succumb.

Good luck, let me know how it works out for you.

I baited traps with soured milo and caught more hogs with it than I did with soured corn .
