Hey all,
Leaving for a few days hunt around Medina (Kerrville area), how's the hunting been? Any rutting activity still going on?
Thanks
Mitch

Is it much more difficult to get one this late in the season?

The reason it gets more difficult this late in the season is because there are less Bucks left.

I hunted just north of Medina Friday evening and Saturday morning. Didn't see any rutting activity. They also didn't come to corn very well. Even with the hard-freezes there seems to be lots of natural forage still around. On the good side the deer we did take were fat and healthy.
