This is the best spot for this topic. OT would get out of hand!
I worked all off season on my pond getting it ducktastic. Blind, Millet. Everything was a go go. Went out of state for a few weeks and come home this weekend to an empty pond. I had a blow out on my dam because it seems my nutria or beavers are gone. I am considering some professional dozer workers to come in but really need mother nature to maintain it. Anyone got any tips on bringing in some dam builders?

Nutria and beaver do more damage to a tank dam they've ever helped. I would never add either to one of my tanks.

go to a democrat or republican convention and you will find plenty for sale or come to austin when the legislature is in session.

Nutria will burrow all the way through a tank dam. The state of Florida shoots the water rats because they destroy the levies.

We had a resident beaver that about ate every dang tree we had for cover.
Not to sound like Phil, but they should be shot on site.

Nutria are the biggest dam diggers around they will put a hole in any dirt dam they can find shoot all you see not sure beavers will help unless you want to dam up a stream

Im ok with a beaver that keeps it's den neat and tidy. Those sloppy beavers are gross though and will ruin a good hole real quick.
