Thought I'd post something a little bit different... We took our first Springbok here on the ranch last week. The most plentiful antelope in southern Africa, these guys are capable of accelerations past 60 mph and can jump extraordinary heights, hence their name which is derived from the dutch word to jump - "spring"! They are the national symbol of South Africa.

We have a small herd of 15 so are in the process of building numbers but decided that this season we'd allow one trophy.
