Hang in their Mike! Take care of yourself. It's a hard road but things always work out. If you need a little breather, bring a friend, your Yote call, to Fayette County and take it out on them!

Sorry it didn't work out for you but it's better to part now and be happy than live in misery the rest of your life.Good luck to your future.

Thanks guys.

I have to be honest. Today was really a major setback. We're still agreeable and amicable but the reality of what's happening has set in. The fact that I'm still committed to willing to work it out, coupled with the fact that she's already checked out (emotionally) was a pretty hard hit. Lots of raw emotions and feelings are exposed to the cold, hard facts.

This is really sucking and a lot harder than I thought it would be. Rationally, I know that there's no good in trying to talk her out of it. Her mind is made and she's already got her heart out the door. I don't intend to chase after her either. It just sucks be in this spot right now. I know it's going to get better and I'll likely be better off. But right now, that's not much of a consolation.

Mike, I mentioned this previously, but it bears repeating.

It's her loss.

And, two other bits I'll share. My Mom has told me since day one, "sometimes things have to get worse, before they get better"

And, they will. Get better.

We're all here for you. Turn to us, your friends, other family, your faith.

God is a big boy and he can handle it, when life roughs us up. Don't be afraid to open up to him.

Stay strong brother.

He is your friend defender your dog. Be worthy of such devotion

Mike, I've been in your shoes, it isn't easy. In fact, it plain sucks! I offered counseling, hell I begged for my ex to go to counseling...she wasn't interested at all. I swore that anyone who ever contemplated marriage was an idiot, and I was done with serious relationships because it hurt too damn bad. Fastforward a couple of years...I'm happily married to a girl from my youth, and I have no idea how I am so blessed. Going on 5 years, and although we have our down times, even the down times are amazing. I never knew life could be this way. But as Janie said, it may get worse before it gets better...but one day you will look back and be thankful that things turned out the way they did. Prayers are still going up on your behalf

Woman have two assets, Youth and Sex Appeal

Men have two assets, Power and Wealth

As woman ages they loose thir assets, As a Man ages he gains his assets

So around age 26 a woman starts to go thru midlife crisis, around age 35 a Man starts to reap the benefit of life.

Live It, Learn It, Dont Forget it.......
