That feeder will on the ground soon when the hogs find it.

NO HOGS HERE. HECK NO, DEALT WITH THEM LAST YEAR IN KENT COUNTY... NEVER AGAIN.

ONE tiny javelina on camera, close as it's going to get to hogs.

And that is one of our scouting feeders, not ones that we actually hunt.

BTW, this is Sterling/Mitchell County, and as STX said, I put this in their wheel house between bed and water... I had over 800 pictures the first 24 hours, and by the 4th day, my 4gig card was full... If you look at the 10 that walks up after we leave, you can see that he is watching us go up another trail across the way. Pretty cool. Looks like they follow our trucks around the ranch.

I'm after that 8 opening weekend. I do NOT think he is a young deer.

What ranch you ask??????

Couple more opening weekend targets for my 2 other hunters that are going to be able to make opening weekend of gun season.

Blake Barner will go after this 10 w/bladed g2's. He shows up everytime the feeder kicks, so he'll probably be done after opening weekend.

And Roy will be after this guy. He's not AS regular, but Roy still has a good chance of closing this deal opening weekend.

2 of the other hunters have been on this pasture for 22 years and NEVER had a hog. Just the occasional Javi. And I miss those buggers. Had a great family of them in Midland County that I fed and hunted periodically.
