The only badger I have ever seen was in Reeves county, west of Pecos. Is it just me, or does Bocephus 1975 look like a younger version of John Anderson...justa a swingin'?

Nice kill! There's not much (non-game animals) that doesn't get shot when I'm hunting. I stick lots of stuff!

I've got a few on my place, I may only see them once a year. I walked up on one a few years back and it paid me no attention what so ever, I watched it dig out its burrow for half an hour from about 20 feet away. Brave suckers.

Be sure and use a reliable and good taxi, getting the eyes and mouth right are a trick. Congrats by the way.

Nice kill. I have killed a bunch of them and never once thought about having a mount done of those stinky things.

That is funny, I traded a bushmaster .204 to the taxi to have my badger mount done that I killed with a bow.

actually I'd say I been hunting since I was 6, killed my first deer at 7, first turkey the following spring, and I'm now 38. I was lucky enough to grow up hunting with my dad, grandad, and uncle. thanks for compliment! I will prob mount myself, if I can get my old buddy I used to do taxidermy with let me use his facilities.

gonna hide out in the bottoms, where i hunted deer and turkey, i know that swamp like the back of my hand-Chris Knight

Haha, yeah but the badger mount was not cheap. The taxi is going to remount my dad's B&C mule deer he killed back in the 70's he never had scored until a couple of years ago. I just need a good mulie cape.

Pretty sure I saw two badgers outside of Junction on my dad's place this week. They showed up early and I was only able to see outlines and no real colors. They way they came running in and then ran off was just like a badger though.
