Got a Covert Black Ops cell phone game camera a few months back and thought I'd share the sequence from my feeder at my lease north of Brackettville this evening.

Feeder goes off at 6 pm

At 5:09 doe was cleaning up what was left from this morning:

After the feeder went off, this spike showed up:

A few minutes later, this larger buck has moved in:

Next comes the big black boar:

Then the cows come in and run off the boar:

Then all the piggies show up and run off the cows:

The camera takes good photos but the cell phone quality isn't the best. Still, I can see what is going on in real time. I have it set for a 4 minute interval.

great pictures pepp...question for ya. I have a Covert MP6, love it the quality of the pics and battery life is amazing, but I get a lot of false triggers. Probably about 100 a day - I do have the cam set for 3x burst at 30 sec delay. Do you have that probably with the black ops?

I was getting some false triggers in the middle part of the day. Not sure if it was grass blowing in the wind or heat of the day setting off the infrared sensor (I think I read that on someone's post here). I changed the sensativity from medium to low and that seemed to take care of it. I get 20 to 50 photots a day and it is rare that there is not an animal in the photo.

I did find out that when the battery indicator gets down to 7 that it stops sending wireless photos. The photos are still stored on the SD card, but just not sent to me. That means only 2 months or so before it needs fresh batteries. Another reason to limit the number of photos.

The camera was a little over $300. I think there may be 2 wireless carriers you can use. AT&T is one of them and is my carrier. I'd planned on adding this camera as another line for $10 and that would have been my only monthly expense, but I already have 5 lines on my plan and that is the limit, so I had to make some changes to my service to fit it in the data plan. It ended up not adding anything to my already outrageous wireless bill, but worst case it would have been $30 a month.

I'm at a pretty remote location, but the spot where I set this up is one of the few places on the ranch that gets a good signal.
