We are lucky. no pigs as of yet. But when they do show, and I'm sure they will. I will throw as much lead as I can at them and don't really care where it lands: head, heart, haunches. I just don't want them dang things to ever get started on my lease. I would keep any I kill out right but don't think I would spend too much time looking for one that's not easily found.

You may be right. I'll pay better attention the next time.

The damage they cause, negative impact on deer and deer woods, easily outweighs their worth as a game animal. Bleed em all!

There is a difference between a hunter and population control. For example I didn't set the trap I usually set this weekend because I didn't want to clean any pigs. Now if they had shown up under the feeder I would have stuck one but getting 4 or 6 in a trap is a pita to take care of and I wasn't up to it so I didn't try to catch any. The other leasers get a little irate if you catch them and turn them loose.

I work hard, drink a little and hunt when I can.

I think leaving them lay serves a purpose. You get to hog hunt then use them for bait for the next few days for other hogs and coyotes or anything else that comes in for a meal. It's a win-win situation for me. rifle
