Yes it does. It's your conscience telling you what is right but not wanting to be judgmental at the same time.

Honestly, that many would be a new challenge b/c I have never attempted that many but I would give it hell. Btw, not a bad days catch.

If they are good clean killed smaller hogs we eat them. If the freezer is full/its a big nasty one etc. I have zero issues feeding the buzzards yotes ants etc.

They used to be nice when you would only see them once a month or so, but when you see one and shoot one every hunt 5 or more hunts in a row from the same stand beginning opening morning its to big a mess!

I was just using it as an example. 4 man rifle team, two nights of hunting, weigh in on 3rd day. They are spoiled by then, so no point in cleaning them. Its just a means of population control in surrounding counties.

Meh, pretty sure the pigs conscience didn't bother them when they were tearing up my work in one night.

We have some good nights too. Whatever I/we don't keep fresh for the table goes to dog food. We feed our dogs a lot of pork! If all of our freezers are full, the dog food coolers are full, and we can't find anyone else to donate to then they get dumped. I always make an effort to not waste any meat, but sometimes there are just too many pigs.

Our neighbor down south has 1200 acres of irrigated rowcrow. So far he has planted sweet potatoes, cantelope, water mellon, and milo on it. He used to have a bunch of wetbacks scattered through the fields all night that shot them. A couple yeaers ago he put up a heavy duty net wire fence and the hog problems have disappeared.

for the sake of completeness, shouldn't there be a poll for those with a pig petting fetish?

I thought you were the only one with the pig fetish, clearly I was wrong.

You mean Payne the Poll Meister failed on his poll? hammer
I understand what you are saying and used to feel the same way about hogs till the mid 80's I killed and trapped 56 that year and cleaned everyone. 2 of my cousins helped me gut, skin and quarter 8 one Saturday morning in 3 hours. A few years after that I changed my attitude about them.
