Anyone keep one? I've just started keeping a log of conditions and results. This is what I've been recording so far. What do y'all record? Also what program do you use (word, excel, etc)?

I use excel

I keep all the data recorded over the last 11 years in a matrix. It's interesting to say the least.

All that plus:

Moon phase
Barometric pressure
Dog(s)
Names of everyone on the hunt
I record approximate time the first group of birds came in and actively worked the spread

I've written a hunting journal for the past decade or so.
I put all of the conditions of the hunt on there- temp., moon phase, other weather conditions, etc ... It's not scientific and it definitely takes a little time, but it is really worth it. I do mine by hand, and it is just a habit now of sitting down with a beer after the hunt and writing about what I saw, who I was with and how the hunting was. It is amazing what you forget about a hunt when you go back and look at past entries. I also put pictures with mine. Probably more than most people want to do, but it is an amazing resource, especially after 12 years. It also reminds me how old I am getting.

What info have y'all found to be consistent? In a good hunt, anyone data plot temp, pressure, sun rise suns set ect. And have a wad of points in one particular area?
