If I had reception at any of my stands, I would do this. My problem would be when I start getting pics mid-week about November 8th...I would just load up and head that way. It would drive me nuts to have to see that

That would be wise. You can buy an extended range anttenna which definitely helps but you should have at least 2 bars with your phone

I heard the UWAY was as good as the older version of the Black Ops but they cant compete with the 2013 Black ops model like 12 MP pics, the ability to control some of the key functions from home, built in GPS just in case it is stolen.

I got a Covert Black Ops off ebay for $250 or so. Had it up for three of months and am very pleased. I already had 5 phones on my AT&T family plan, so had to convert to a "data share" plan to add the 6th device and not end up with a $30 a month increase. So far that change in service has not increased my monthly bill, but I was hoping to add a device for $10 a month, so I'd recommend checking into that first.

Had a hard time getting it set up, but I'm an old fart. I was trying to send both email and text, but I could not get that to work. Found a YouTube video from Covert that was very helpful with the set up.

I also set up a gmail account so the photos go there and I can look at them, but not get texts coming in all the time.

I'm very pleased and lucky to have good AT&T service where I set it up.

I've been getting lots of photos of racoons at my protein feeder and I'm headed out to the lease this weekend. If I get an email at 11 or 12 pm with a photo of a racoon, I'm headed out with my .22 mag and a spotlight for a little population control. That will beat sitting out all night waiting for the little bandits to show up!
