It's the best but hard to find and pricey when you do. I think we're down to a pound or two. Time to start shopping.

Central Market usually has it in stock. You have to ask for it because they do not have it out in the bins.

Love Kona or Dunkin Donut Dark Roast. Recently tried Seattle's Best Dark it's not bad. I'll have to find some Jamaican Blue Mountain and try that out.

Here's my initiation into Blue Mountain story:

When I worked in Austin for the gov't I got invited to Rick Perry's inauguration (by G. Bush) by a retired 4-star I'd come to know through the job. Being a 4-star, he got a personal audience with them afterwards. I waited in the hall. They had a coffee service rolling around and that was the best damn coffee I'd ever had. When he came out I commented on the coffee and he reached down to the cart, pulled up the cloth, and said "grab a bag, don't worry you're with me. Nobody'll say anything." The guy pushing the cart around was standing right there with his hands on the cart handles!. My host kind of insisted, so I did, and grabbed a 2# bag of Jamaican Blue Mountain whole bean. I had to go out and buy a burr grinder to enjoy it, but I sure as hell did!

I want some of those beans that went through a monkey's digestive tract. Gotta see how that tastes.

Kopi Luwak...no thank you.

The most expensive coffee in the world does not hail from Jamaica or Hawaii, but instead from Indonesia.

Kopi Luwak the most expensive coffee in the world does exist, and those who drink the expensive coffee insist that it is made from coffee beans eaten, partly digested and then excreted by the Common palm civet, a weasel-like animal.

It's good to the last drop. Nice and chocolatey too. Good stuff. Occasionally we'll get Starbucks or Dunkin's, they're good also but more $.

Used to be Folgers as I worked for them and gave them over 21 yrs of my life, literally, working. 12 hr days/night(good old rotating shifts)and wknds....(and we were the highest profit making plant they had) . and what did I get for it,plant shut down and 150 + jobs lost and moved to over seas, or NewOrleans in the dang hurricane bowl. Who is stupid enough to put all there apples in a basket below sea level. Guess they have a very short memory and have forgoten about Katrina. Go figure. Now its Maxwell house in my coffee cup........

Don't kill me here. I LOVE coffee, I do use real half n half BUT I have gone to the dark side and bought a Kierig VEU machine...and I love it.

I only have coffee at home on the weekends, I leave for work early and hit the Coffee Bean around the corner for my first jolt.

But this dang K VUE is great! I like the "Donut Shop" cups the best

K-Cups can be costly. Try this...buy some K-cup baskets at Target or Walmart (a package of 4 cost around $10)and load your favorite bulk coffee it the basket. My first cup is Community Coffee with Chickory. I fill the basket a little over half full and use the large cup option. I think it's better than the K-Cups.

I cannot in good conscience give money to starbuck's any longer, but as far as their coffee goes, it was good!

I recently tried Rio Grande Roasters Pinon coffee. Man, that stuff was delicious! I felt like I could drink a entire pot by myself. Definitely going to stock up on that coffee.
