We had a female beagle that had "Thunder" in one of her ancestor's names, so we named her Whiskey River Thunder. Typical beagle - the family loved her like crazy - I had to chase her, find her, wash off whatever putrid dead animal she'd rolled in, etc.

My wife and I are having a hard time agreeing on a female name as we speak. Do you have the dog already? If so post a pic... I can never seem to pick a name till I saw the dog... (with exception to Hailey who we named because we were kinda shafted on a dog we were supposed to take. My son got to looking forward to a Hailey dog so we had to name the one we were planning to get that)
