Even though we're still in this dang drought, our place in Hamilton Co has more birds than in years. I've talked to folks in other areas and it seems like that's the trend in most places.

How about where you are?

A lot more birds, but way, way less mature toms. Lts of jakes and young hens but with a small hatch in 2010 and no hatch in 2011 it makes for slim pickings for mature toms.
If its stays halfway normal in regards to rainfall it should be a decent hatch and good year next year.
